Before Your Visit
At The Willow Bean Play Cafe, we want every family to enjoy a safe, relaxed and happy visit. Please take a moment to read our visitor information before arriving.
In our play spaces
- Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all times and must be supervised throughout their visit.
- We kindly ask all visitors to play kindly and respectfully so everyone can enjoy a safe and happy environment.
- Children must remain within the play spaces suitable for their age/stage of development.
- The Baby Nest is a dedicated play space for pre-walking babies only.
- Shoes must be removed before entering play areas.
- Socks must be worn by both children and adults within play spaces.
- Please keep food and hot drinks outside of all play spaces.
- Any damaged equipment should be reported to a member of staff immediately.
Allergies & dietary requirements
Your safety is extremely important to us. If you or your child has any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, please speak to a member of our team before ordering.
Our cafe prepares and serves a variety of food and drinks containing common allergens including, but not limited to, nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs and other allergens. Although we have procedures in place and take every reasonable precaution to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, The Willow Bean Play Cafe is not an allergen-free environment and we cannot guarantee that any food or drink is completely free from allergens or traces of allergens.
Ingredient and supplier information can occasionally change, so even if you have visited before, please always speak to our team regarding allergies each time you visit. We will always do our best to provide information to help you make an informed decision about what is suitable for you and your family.
If you or your child has a severe allergy requiring emergency medication (such as an EpiPen), please ensure this is brought with you and remains the responsibility of the parent/carer.
To help us manage allergies and keep all our visitors safe, we kindly ask that outside food and drink is not brought into the cafe.
We understand some children have specific medical or dietary needs. If this applies to your child, please contact us before your visit and we will always try our best to help.
The little things that matter
Health & Illness
To protect our little visitors, please do not visit the cafe if your child is unwell. If your child has experienced sickness or diarrhoea, we kindly ask that you wait 48 hours after their last symptoms before visiting.
Photos & Memories
We love seeing special memories being made. Photos and videos are welcome, however please be mindful of other families and avoid taking or sharing images containing other children without permission.
Belongings
Personal belongings remain the responsibility of visitors while inside the cafe. A dedicated buggy park is available at the entrance.
Accidents & First Aid
Little bumps can sometimes happen during play. Please report any accidents or concerns to a member of our team immediately.
Nappy Changing
Please use the baby changing facilities provided. For hygiene reasons, nappies should only be changed in designated changing areas.

Cancellations & changes
48 hours or more before
Full refund, or transfer to another available session.
Within 48 hours
Non-refundable — your space has been reserved and may not be possible to rebook.
If we need to cancel
A full refund, or the option to transfer to another available session.
Transferring your booking
Where possible, we are happy to transfer your booking to another available session if you contact us at least 48 hours before your visit.
Illness
If your child is unwell, please do not attend. If you let us know before your session, we'll do our best to offer a transfer where possible, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Unfortunately, bookings are non-refundable if you do not attend your session.
